Obverse design
The set of gold and silver commemorative coins bear the common obverse of the National Emblem of the People’s Republic of China, the title of P.R.C. and the year date.
Reverse design
- The reverse of 1/4oz gold coin depicts the Guest-Greeting Pine against mountain scenery, the words “Guest-Greeting Pine, Huangshan Mountain” in Chinese and the face value.
- The reverse of 1oz silver coin (I) depicts the view of Monkey Watching the Sea, the words “Monkey Watching the Sea, Huangshan Mountain” in Chinese and the face value.
- The reverse of 1oz silver coin (II) features the Intruder Rock against mountain scenery, the words “Intruder Rock, Huangshan Mountain” in Chinese and the face value.
- The reverse of 1oz silver coin (III) depicts the Flying Rain Waterfall against mountain scenery, the words “Flying Rain Waterfall, Huangshan Mountain” in Chinese and the face value.
- The reverse of 1oz silver coin (IV) depicts the Jade Screen Pavilion Against mountain scenery, the words “Jade Screen Pavilion, Huangshan Mountain” in Chinese and the face value.
