One of the most iconic CIT collections is the Mongolian Wildlife Protection series launched in 2007. Eleven years and several awards later, the ninth installment of the collection portrays the wild boar (Sus scrofa) with mesmerizing amber-colored SWAROVSKIR crystal eyes that collectors of the series have come to cherish. The design is once again struck in smartmintingc high relief and thus represents a perfect blend of high-end minting technology and traditional sculpting craft. Not many coin series span successfully over a decade. Mongolian Wildlife Protection, however, has been a collector’s favorite at the World Money Fair in Berlin throughout the years and will continue to impress and inspire until its tenth and final release in 2019. The Sus scrofa thus presents the penultimate issue of the series and will surely be a sought after collectible.
